Sorry it's taken me so long to get my info up! Hope everyone's reading is going well. :)
basic info: I have been married 5 years, but no kids yet. My husband and I own our own mattress store in Kerrville.
a great experience last year: Getting to drive up to Kentucky with my husband and my parents to see my brother and sister-in-law(Hi Erin!). It was a long drive, but many great family memories were made. I love family time!
a difficult experience last year: My husband's brother moved in with us after losing his job. It has definitely taken some adjusting in our small house!
goals for this year: To be more patient with my husband, family, friends, and customers. Also, I am asking God to help me hold my tongue instead of saying things that might hurt others.
something silly: I love to make up silly songs about my dogs, my sheep, and even myself. They are usually corny and rhyme, but it makes me happy! I am always singing!
something unusual: My husband and I have 10 dogs (8 are hunting dogs) and 6 sheeps (barbado rams). We love all of our animals, though sometimes it seems like we live at the funny farm! :)
salvation experience: I have grown up a Christian after being baptized as a baby and confirmed when I was an older child. After first moving to Kerrville, I felt distant from God and lost since I didn't have a church home. Thankfully we found a church who took us in and made us part of the family. I am now closer to God than ever before and learning more and growing in Him everyday.
Sandra was telling me about the church you are attending. I think she said that both you and your husband connected with the pastor and his wife, as friends. I am so happy you found a church home!
